ARE YOUR GROUPS PAIRED?

?

Unpaired groups means that the elements of one group are independent of the elements of the other groups. Such a design occurs, for example, in a study where we want to compare whites with blacks and with Indians. The elements of one group are completely independent of the elements of the other two groups. In these statistical tests, the number of elements in the groups may differ from each other.
